About the Book
The discipline of wealth management is evolving fast, and the number of people in the HNI or mass affluent bracket is also increasing at a fast clip. The practitioner of wealth management needs to be aware of the concepts and knowledge of the subject, for which this book will come in handy. The book covers the relevant aspects of the subject e.g. investment asset classes, taxation, regulations, client profiling, behavioural aspects, etc. Beyond this, the practitioner of wealth management has to keep track of daily developments in investment markets, regulation, etc. through media and other sources.
About the Author
Joydeep Sen, Trainer, Author, Columnist, Academician, Joydeep has worked in the financial services industry for 25 years, till 2016. Of this, the last 13 years were with a leading MNC Bank in the Wealth Management department as Senior Vice President - Advisory Desk - Fixed Income. Prior to the MNC Bank, he worked with various companies in the private sector. Since 2017, Joydeep is on his own, pursuing his passion.
Joydeep writes columns regularly in various financial publications. Since January 2017 till Sep 2020, he has published 240 articles in publications like Mint, Moneycontrol, Financial Express, Business Standard, ET Markets, The Hindu, Outlook Money, Cafemutual, etc. He has done trainings for CRISIL, FPSB, NISM, CIEL, AIWMI and certain NBFCs and Mutual Funds. He is a visiting faculty at a couple of business schools in Mumbai.
Joydeep is a Certified Financial Planner. He did his MBA from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 1991. He has been awarded 100 Most Influential BFSI Leaders' by BFSI Congress in February 2019.
