He designed a six-course programme on ‘Business Consulting Studies’ for the members of Bombay Chartered Accountants Society. He has conducted three international seminars hosted by Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA London – Colombo Branch). He co-authored the first Indian glossary in Management Accounting by adding new concepts and terminologies for the ICWAI. Four scholars got their Ph.D.s under the guidance of Dr. Jakhotiya from the internationally known ‘Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and one from the SNDT University, Mumbai. He has been associated with the Confederation of Indian Industries, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) London, Bombay Management Association, Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Institute of Cost Accountants of India etc. He was a senior professor and member of the advisory council of the well-known Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, University of Mumbai (from the year 1985 to 2000). Manjiri Jakhotiya is a management consultant in the areas of Strategic Planning, Management & Cost Control Systems, Dealers’ Credit Monitoring System, Business Valuation, Performance Management etc. She has been a visiting faculty at various institutes like JBIMS, IIT – SOM, ICWAI, S.P. Jain & NMIMS. She has coauthored two books, ‘Finance made simple’ and Cases in Management. She conducts her training programmes with a variety of cases & group exercises. She has conducted programmes for Tata Group., Forbes & Co. Ltd., Dempo Group, MTNL, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., CEAT, Siemens, HPCL, Institute of Finance (Muscat) etc. She has conducted a programme on ‘Entrepreneurship’ in Colombo organized by CIMA. He has 25 years of teaching experience in handling MBA classes on various subjects like Managerial Economics, International Business and Entrepreneurship. He has attended several training programmes in management conducted by AIMA, New Delhi; AIMS, Coimbatore; School of Management, Pondicherry University; NLC Limited, Neyveli, Rallis India Ltd., New Delhi and BIM, Bangalore. S. K. Nagarajan, completed his undergraduation in Computer Science, from A.V.C. College, Mayiladuthurai, Bharathidasan University and completed M.B.A., M.Phil (Business administration) from the Department of Business Administration, Annamalai University. He executed his doctorate in software product marketing with qualitative and quantitative data analysis. He is working as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration, Annamalai University and has been awarded as Accredited Management Teacher by AIMA.
