This book deals with a number of nitty gritty items that relate to the work of a trainer. These items of work are often assumed to be routine functions which any person can perform easily. Truly, these operations do not require any great technical competence. Yet many trainers succeed in messing them up only because they have not paid attention to the number of ways in which one can slip and the precautions that may be taken. Faculty development programmes tend to neglect these simpler operations, whose effect on the total effectiveness of the trainer is not insignificant. This book should be a handy companion to every newcomer to the training profession. Experienced trainers also may find useful tips.
